Bailey

A few days ago, I photographed a very fun, smart, outgoing, active, beautiful,
confident young woman who's mother is one of the most amazing people that I have
ever known. It was an honor to capture this stage is Bailey's life. Girls especially
can sometimes go though a tough time between the ages of about 12-18. So many
changes, trying to figure out who you are and the difference in who you want to
be and who others want you to be. You are becoming who you will be as an adult.
The decisions made now will forever reflect you as a person. For me this age was
a defying point in my life. I don't think I realized it until I was an adult though.

So, I have been wanting to do a series of sessions of different girls between these
ages for them. Such an important time in their lives that should be documented.
The time between child and young adult. Such a special time to them and to their
parents. A session to have fun, show their personalities, honor them as who they
are at this very stage in their lives. I start this series with Bailey. A truly amazing
young woman.

She was perfect to photograph. She slept through everything and let me move her all around
without ever making a sound. I am so glad that I was able to capture this amazing moment
in their lives. Thanks Tom and Jennifer!

Random Wednesday

Woooo! Wednesday already. And school is about to start, crazy!! Summer has just flown
by. I had all these plans, things I wanted to do, things I wanted to take Laykin to do,
family things, ect... But the summer is quickly coming to an end. I hope that
everyone has had a great summer though and had lots of fun!
On to the randomness :)

1) The Yahoo! Homepage has that top 10 trending topics and today's #7 was
Head Lice. Ew... I guess with going back to school, comes head lice. Just
thought that was interesting ha

2) I have lotsa Yahoo things today :)
I always love the crazy things that they have on the homepage... Today for instance.

4) I would LOVE to do a Wedding here. The small, castle like St. Catherine's Chapel is
Fayettville, AR. It is amazing inside and out and not only the Chapel, but the grounds!
Seriously love it! Anyone want to get married there?? :)



5) Lastnight I had a session with an incredible young woman and I am so excited to share
her photos with you (and her) :D
