○ Random Wednesday ○

I have done my homework this week :)
I sure hope that everyone is enjoying this weather!! I love it. Even if I can't be out
enjoying it, I can open some windows and that makes me happy.

1) I have been insanely busy. It may take me a little longer to respond to emails, facebook
messages and phone calls. I am sifting through the image folders, placing and packaging
print orders, trying to keep up with blogging, designing albums ect... and I wouldn't have
it any other way hah

2) Designer Laykin
THIS is what my child came up with the week :) Incase you can't tell... This is a toilet paper
roll guys!!

3) This is what she made me lastweek :)

4) [Photography Question for the week]

1. There aren't really photography questions, but more of what you DO with your photography. My computer seems SO bogged down by all of my pictures (mainly of my little guy!!!). What do you do with all of yours?

I could go into this long story about what exactly I do with the images from the point that they find their new home on my computer until they are completed but I will just get to the point of where their final home is. I move them all to an external harddrive (you can get one at Staples, Walmart, Best Buy and so on) and then delete the ones on my computer after about 6 months. That way I ALWAYS have every image and it doesn't slow my computer down. Also with storing so many images, you need to make sure that your computer can handle all of that.

5) Dejah Quinn is one of my favorite photographers. I look at her blog often and when I did
the other day, I noticed this Great Post! She actually got it from a friend's blog too and I just
couldn't have said it better so I decided to just share hers. As Dejah asks "what's the #1 thing
that you would grab from your home in the case of an emergency once everyone was out
safe?" PHOTOS! Check out the post!

6) SAY WHAT?! New 'Twilight' book to be released
Stephenie Meyer has written a new book from the perspective of a minor character in "Eclipse."
check it out here!!

7) Friday I will be going to Fort Smith to meet an awesome couple that is getting married in
May. First we are doing the Bridal Session and second, the Engagement Session.
I can't wait to be in a new area shooting and to come back and share the images with you all!

8) Lee DeWyze! wow he is great. (easily distracted... I am watching Idol and he is on now) ha

9) in #8, did you notice that that means that it is Tuesday night and I am doing RW. Yep, I
am ON it this week!

10) I love this image from a recent session.

Happy Wednesday!

○ the Persenaire family ○

A couple weeks ago when Becca called about family photos, I had no idea that I knew exactly
where she lived. She started telling me (because she wanted to do them @ their house) and I
knew exactly where she was talking about. Everytime we pass their pond, Laykin always
wonders who lives there if if they would let us take pictures there :)
So, I was excited to tell her that I now know who lives there.
Here are my favorites from thie wonderful families session.

○ Jason + Tracey Marion ○

The day started @ the Shiny Lime hair studio with the girls getting ready.
The ceremony was held at the Methodist Church in Mountain Home. What
a beautiful church! Rain and clouds threatened the day, but no one seemed
to even care. It was perfect. It didn't rain until later @ the reception, which
took place at the new Riverrock Inn and they also catered the event.

The Bridal Party was great. They were tons of fun, it was a blast!
Here are my favorites from Tracey and Jason's Day.
Congrats you two. I wish you all the best.

What is great about having 2 photographers is that we can capture moments like these
