RW [late again]

I knew all day yesterday that it was Wednesday... It was a busy day but it wasn't until
lastnight that I remembered that I hadn't done RW :( Slacker, yes... I know.

1) Where did Spring go? It was SO nice and now it's chilly, going to rain and be in the
40's and 50's again. Blah!

2) Yesterday was soooo crazy windy. I had 2 family sessions and both were such troopers!
I was worn out though after them. The wind has a way of doing that.

5) Last weekend when I got home from a full day of sessions, these were waiting for me
with a sweet little note ;)



6) I dicovered something this past week. Laundry soap is worth spending some money on.
I am pretty cheap when it comes to cleaning supplies and those small items for the house.
Like toilet cleaner, laundry soap, dryer sheets ect... But there are some things that are
just worth the extra couple bucks. I have recently decided that laundry soap is in that
category also. No longer will I buy the cheap stuff, I thought I would just see if there was
a huge difference and picked up some Gain and Tide last week. After smelling how fresh
my clothes smelt all day, I was hooked!
Some other thing that I love the good stuff is Paper Towels. Love Viva!
And Dawn for dishsoap, Cottenelle for TP... not skimpin' there.

*I know that this is pretty useless info BUT it is a Random Wednesday post ;)

7) Sometimes my little model is just not having it.... This was one of those days...

Paul Mitchell Headshots!

I know, I am BADLY neglecting the blog. To be honest, Facebook is so much easier :)

Anyway, I will try to get back to my good blogging skills!

Last week (was crazy) and one of those crazy days, Jaren and I went for a road trip
to the Paul Mitchell School in Fayetteville to do headshots for their fundraiser for the
Children's Miracle Network. It was s really a lot of fun and I love all of their crazy hair
and makeup!! So fun to photograph.

Random Wednesday..... on Thursday

Happy St. Patty's Day!! (and happy birthday to my grandpa) :)

1) Yesterday, Jaren and I were in Fayetteville @ the Paul Mitchell school doing
headshots for their hair show and runway that they put on. It was super fun and
all of the hair and makeup was so awesome. Those girls and guys are so very talented!
I can't wait to share some photos from the day!

2) Love having the door open while I work... It is SO NICE out this morning!

3) Last weekend I strolled around outside in my yard looking for signs of Spring...
I do this every year and probably take almost the very same photos haha but I
can't help it! I love Spring!

4) IDOL!
OH-EM-G! I am loving it this year.

Casey just rocks, for real, hands down the most awesome one!
I love Paul, he is great and cracks me up EVERY single time I watch him.
Lauren, wow! Aw-mazing and still think she's got it in the bag!

I really just like about all of them this year, it's a great season and who's with me on
this is the.best.judges.ever!?

6) Last Friday my bestie and I went up to Springfield. I was in search of some marketing items :)
I have my logo, I really want to get my branding down this year & new packaging.
More natural, clean, simple... more me! So I found the tools and after putting it all together...



7) Hm, I am running out of goods... think Jamie, think...

8) Again just want to let you all know that if you are wanting to book a Spring or even Summer
session, please do so ASAP!
I have 1 March date open and only like 5 April and about that many in May and June!

9) Just gonna call this good.

Happy Happy Wednesday to all of you great blog followers! :)
The birds are chirping outside of the studio, Spring is near and I can't wait!
The 60's will be back later this week and weekend! wahoo!!

I have a super fabulous couple coming in town this weekend for an Engagement Session,
I can't wait to meet them and hear all about their Wedding coming up in May.

On to the Randomness...

1) Laykin had her BF over this weekend for a little play time. Aren't they so cute!



2) Music that I love...
Adele's new song is seriously so amazing! I love love love it!!

3) Look @ this sweet baby girl that came in yesterday. She got super messy
at the end of her session (full post coming soon) but we had A TON of fun!
I love getting to watch miss R grow :)



4) IDOL TALK! (it's that time of year!!)

I am LOVING this season, really bummed that Tim didn't get the wild card. I was
really shocked but gosh I loooove Casey! My top 3 are Casey, Paul and Lauren!
I still think that Lauren is going to take it home and have since I heard her first
audition but would really love Casey to win. Who are your favorites this season?
I would love to hear :)

5) Something has happened to my daughter... the past 2 mornings, she has been up
before me! And this in itself is strange since I usually have to D R A G her out of bed, but
not only is she up B U T she has already eaten, got dressed and read a chapter in her
reading book for school!!!
Crazyness. Yesterday she even had all of the "goods" for her lunchbox out are ready
to go in it, sandwich stuff out for me to make it and everything.
This morning when I got up (before my alarm even went off b/c I heard her up) she
was already dressed and getting her shoes on, all that was left was hair and teeth.
Wow, I love it! haha

6) I have something great to share today! My great friend Jaren, her awesome hubby (Matt)

I also have some themed session ideas that I CAN NOT WAIT to share and do!!
Eeeek!! You are all going to love, promise.

9) Uh, #9... I have to do taxes after I finish RW :( Bummer.

10) I love lunch dates! I get to go to lunch with my pregger friend (Hayley) today!

Miss Anistyn

I love photographing newborns and have had a lot recently! Miss A was so sweet and
I was so happy to meet her. I can't wait for their family photos coming up.

1) Wowsers, it's March! AND super excited b/c daylight savings begins next Sunday!
Love that. Spring Sessions, begin! :)

2) I seen this on Yahoo! earlier this week. It made me sad, sad that that generation
is now gone.

(Charles Town, WV) -- The last surviving U.S. veteran of World War One has died. Frank Buckles passed away peacefully Sunday in his Charles Town, West Virginia home. He was 110-years-old.

3) This made me happy today :) This is what I call "good mail". thanks dee!
Can't wait until their Wedding!!



4) I don't watch Oprah much but it just happened to be on yesterday when I turned on the TV
and it was about talented kids. They were all great but there was this one kid on there that I
really thought was great and what was even greater was who showed up to meet him! I just
LOVE when these busy artists take time to make a kids day! I was grinning ear to ear and I
truly hope this kid goes far with his career, he deserves it!
