Miss Reagan

I get to see Reagan quite a lot and I am always excited to see how she has grown... how
long her hair is getting ect. This time, she was all about that cookie. Who doesn't love
girl scout cookies?

It was Cory's Birthday and Cailtin's is coming up, so we combined their session and also
got in a few easter photos. Here are my favorites from the day!

○ Random Wednesday ○

1) I am completely (un)prepared for RW this week. I am trying to get the studio in order
and sessions done, sign designed and ordered, logo, open house invites...

2) I am really excited for "Samantha's" senior session tonight.

3) I had lots of iphone pics to share, but left my cord @ home :(

4) I can't wait to see this!

7) sorry for the random wed and it's boringness this week.
I usually keep a page in my notes app that is an ongoing RW ideas thing... but this week,
it is empty. I promise to do better next week.

8) Lastnight, we were all in bed... Laykin starts crying. I say "laykin, whats wrong"...
she says " i ws just thinking if there was a bad guy shooting you and daddy"...
REALLY! where does this come from. The only thing on TV that night was Americal Idol.
There was no talk of this, she just thinks up off the wall stuff and gets all upset. So, I tell
her to come and lay in our bed :) I know that she will not always want to crawl in bed w/ me
so I am taking advantage of it.

Saturday I met up with Cortney. She is the little sister of a great friend of mine, Hayley.
It was so nice out and Cortney was such a great sport. She never looked at me like I was
crazy and she always did what I asked! :)

1) I love all things green: Green is such a great color. Bright and full of happiness.
Look! there is green stuff in my yard!!

I love candles. Don't all girls? Espec. Woodwick!!
And this new fragrance... SPRING! and it's GREEN!

3) Also wanted to share that 2 of the best stores in MH (the cottage and rusticities)
are combining stores again and having a HUGE sale! Not sure how long it is going on
but I could sure use a couple extra thousand dollars about now...

4) Yesterday I had lunch with a great friend, LeaAnn! I love lunch dates.
Food + Great Company = THE BEST!
I will be thinking of you L while you prepare for baby #2 :)

5) ALL sessions from now on will be @ the NEW STUDIO. Some already know
where but for those that don't (and if you know me, it totally makes sense).
613 E 9th St. aka Beside Tropical Rayz! I am not open, open yet but enough
so to have upcoming sessions there. Open House coming in late April.

This cracks me up. I click the shutter and he shakes his head. bahahaha



and then he was still.



7) My BF from HS is going to be in town tomorrow and I am going to steal her
baby for some photos :) hehe
and then I have a super fun family session that I am pretty stoked about!

i see that your taking questions on your blog..so heres one for ya..(might have to shorten it up a bit) how do you get rid of the terrible overcast shadows caused by the flash on your camera if theres not enough light to set your camera with the flash off? does a speedlight flash unit help at all? heres a photo to tell you what i mean .. ive even tried setting it on a setting that i can lower my flash compensation on..help!thanks

I never ever ever use my on camera flash. I have a speedlight that I only use @ Weddings ect.
and studio lighting for indoor sessions BUT whenever possible, I use natural light. Of coarse this
isn't always an option so I would suggest you investing in a speedlight. You can get one off of Amazon or Ebay for a couple hundred dollars. You will be amazed at how much of a difference it will make.

○ my little tennis star ○

Last Friday night we went to see if tennis was going to be an option.
At first I was a little um.... aggrivated that Laykin was "not doing it!!"
She was all excited until we walked in. I am signing her up and she looks
at me with this major attitude, head down but looking up, raised eyebrows,
speaking under her breath... I AM NOT DOING IT. Just like that. If you
know this child, you are totally laughing right now because you can SO see
her doing this! Anyway, by the end of the night she LOVED it and couldn't
wait to sign up. Everything she did this weekend revolved around her
tennis racket.
