RW . i know, i know...

So sorry everyone. I hope that I still have readers... Things have been crazy!
Really crazy. I need 5 of me to get caught up. I am trying (and so far am) staying
up on deadlines. I also realize it's been FOREVER since I have done a RW and again,
sorry. I have been hearing it too. From you guys... and my mom :)

So here we go! It may be late but it's still Wednesday!

1) My good friend Jen is doing something that I want to share and if you are interested
in helping her out you can email me (jamie@lifeasaphoto.com) for more info.
She is going to a Paul Mitchell school, the one in Fayettville. You may remember her from
this photo doing makeup for a super fun shoot for another school project.

Anyway...once a year the school allows the students to offer great deals on Paul Mitchell product and styling tools in the form of gift bags for yourself or someone else. They even include product for pets too. Only for limited time, while supplies last. So if you use Paul Mitchell, would like
to try it or just wanna help a girl out ;) Then just let me know! I love my stuff that I got from
her!! I will even toss in a FREE 8x10 for anyone that purchases a set from her!

2) I have so many sessions to blog! Great photos and familes that I can't wait to share.

4) Fall is my favorite!

5) And I love yummy soups in the fall!
This is from my momma, if you like potato soup then you must try this!!

POTATO SOUP RECIPE

8-10 potatoes
1-2 cloves garlic, minced
1 med. onion , diced
1 stick butter
1/2 & 1/2 or milk
salt/pepper to taste
1 TBSP chives
1 TBSP parsley
1 cup sour cream

Boil potatoes with just enough water to cover. When fork tender, drain.
While potatoes are boiling, melt 1 stick butter in sauce pan add onion and garlic, saute on
med-low .
Put potatoes back in pan, add 1/2 & 1/2 or milk just to cover potatoes, butter, onion, and garlic. Just bring to a bubble for about 15-20 minutes. Add salt, pepper chives and parsley. Now add sour cream.
Take a potato masher and mash. You don't want mashed potatoes, but you wanna leave some chunks. The size of chunks are up to you. Will thicken as sits. Tastes better if sets for a bit anyway. You can add chunks of ham or bacon if you want.

5) I am SO excited to be adding personalized jewelry to the studio! More on that soon.
Here is a sneak peek! (and Ornaments too!!) Great gifts for the Holidays!

great rest of the week (and last few days of October!)
