Random Wednesday

It feels like forever since Wednesday since I kinda skimped on it last week
with the news!

This week is better, I have lots to tell you... here we go!

1) I have done so many great sessions in the past couple weeks...
many of them not even blogged. here comes the crazy time, but i love it!

2) announcements: did you know that you could get custom announcements,
invites, grad cards, sweet 16, baby's first birthday or really anything that's
special. here is a sweet baby birth announcement.



3) halloween kinda stunk this year. laykin was sick, i left my purse @ the depot...
(more on that in a sec) anywho, we went to our parents house and that was about it!
kevin and i both felt bad, she was cheated out of her 6 year trick or treating :( but i guess
life goes on...

4) about that home depot thing... i need to SLOW down! i "ran" to the depot to
get those nice christmas tree looking rosemary plants that you seen in the
Cottage Christmas Set... got them in the car CHECK, laykin in the car CHECK...
grab keys from purse CHECK, grab phone from purse CHECK, grab purse from cart...
NO CHECK! i push my cart over, leaving my purse in the cart that i JUST PUSHED RIGHT
IN FRONT OF MY CAR. got in the car (cart still in front of car) and leave. O M G!!
i get to the studio... get the plants and the cute little urns out... plant the pretty plants...
get them all in place... take some pictures of laykin... (still forgetting the purse) we leave,
running behind, oh crap... almost out of gas... pull into gas station... LIGHT BULB! where's
my purse??? i kinda start to freak. no way did i leave it @ the depot. we head back to the
studio on E as in EMPTY. get there, no purse. so i call the depot and they have it! no word
on the "shape" that it's in but they have it. so knowing that i am on E and probably can't get
there and to the gas station, i run home, get kevins card, drop laykin off to start getting
ready and BACK to the depot. amazingly enough, it is there ALL OF IT! cash, cards, ect...
YAY! thanks to Travis the lot guy :) SO if you know travis the lot guy... give him a pat on
the back for being on that lot!! and have peace of mind knowing that if you leave your purse
in the parking lot... that travis might be working ;o)
that is how the halloween evening started... want to hear what happened next?? hahaha

i love this image. i don't know exactly why? i love the family (post to come soon) and
the weather was perfect!



6) ok... so after the purse mess.
we get on our way... make a couple stops then head out to my dads down tracy ferry.
my not so lucky road. (we won't go into that)
anyway... we are driving... i am driving... at the speedlimit ( i think ) and there's a dear,
i slow down 1 dear = more. i get up to the dear and another one comes out. i slam on my breaks
and this dear "taps" into the side of my car, like its body! in my car... i am slowly driving,
the dear is like racing us... right up on my car... trotting along with us. seriously dear love to
hit me. i swear. the rest of the night was fine. cheers to next hallween~

7) a dYno invasion: i love creative shoots.



8) i know i have more... come to me random thoughts.
laykin is still home sick. i am so ready for her to be better, to sleep all night, for her to go
back to school. hopefully tomorrow.
i have however got to edit, clean house, get laundry caught up (almost) and just enjoy
being HOME. this never happens to me. i am NEVER home. so it has kinda been nice.
i am ready to get in the studio and get my new normalness goin on.

9) thank you thank you thank you to everyone that has been encouraging and supportive
on this new journey that i am on...

10) i am going with my pal Anne-Camille to the Jason Aldean concert tomorrow night.
i admit, i know like 1 song. but i am excited, it will be fun. THEN~ next week!!!!
i am going to st. louis. do you know why? first one to guess why i am going to St L get's
20.00 off their next session fee (if you are a friend that has heard me talk about it, you can't
win... that's just not fair :) . leave your guesses in the comment box! GO!
