Dowdy Wedding

I have been excited for this wedding since July 2011 when I recieved an email from Marla starting out like this: " I recently got engaged (July 4th weekend on the Capitol steps in DC!) to Jefferson Dowdy, a 2nd Lt. in the Marine Corps." By that first line, I knew that this was a Wedding that I had to be a part of!! It has been an honor to get to know these two over the past several months.

Now that they are married, they are packing and moving to where Jefferson has been stationed...
that my friends, would be Hawaii! Although they will be far from home, they are excited to start this new chapter in their lives and I couldn't be more thrilled for them!

Their post is HUGE so I am going to do it in parts, starting with the getting ready through the ceremony. :) Stay tuned.
