Headbands

A couple of days ago we had "project Laykin's room" because it was a total disaster.
I meant to do this before her Birthday and Christmas but that just didn't happen.
After the mess we had to start with PLUS Bday and Cmas.... we had quite the project.

Her hair accessories are always all over the house. If you know me at all or follow my blog, you know that my child is verrrry creative and always doing her hair, making clothes out of trashbags ect... ;) so we needed somewhere to store this always growing mound of hair "things". If you know me at all you might now that I too, LOVE Pintrest :)
I don't have an account b/c I am trying to just stay a little distant so that my whole day isn't consumed by this amazing website. Anyway, I seen this a few weeks ago so we took a few minutes to make our own.

Now ours isn't near as cute as some of these other ones. You see, I am terrible at taking my time and making it great. I am more of an " I can't wait to see it done so hurry up" kinda person ;) Note the upside down peace signs ;) whoops :)

p.s. I WILL blog more in 2012! Even if it's a blog post about an empty oatmeal box, some scrapbook paper, ribbon and headbands ;)
