I had a client yesterday that needed a new updated photo for her business card.
I have to admit, these are not usually my favorite kind of session. There is
just not a lot of creativity there. They need a classy, traditional style photo.
Pretty simple.
Anyway, I had just briefly met this client prior to the session. Before she
arrived at the studio, I had a few things in mind for her session but just ideas
but I wasn't sure what she would think. She walks in so full of energy and
happiness, so bright, cheery and jingly :) . From that moment I knew that this
wouldn't be like the typical commerical/business session. This was going to be
fun! We got started, laughed and talked and soon we were done. It was at this
moment when I realized why I had met this woman. I truly believe that everyone
you meet in your life has something to offer you. By this I mean something that
they can teach you, something that you have to look for but it is there if you
search for it. She was telling me about her job and the company she works for.
She more than works for this company... It is more than a job to her. She
represents this company and she is proud of this company and the woman that
founded it. This new friend of mine taught me that you need to go for your goals,
even if they seem out of reach. Be strong. Overcome shyness. Do whatever it takes
to get you out of "cleaning houses" if that's what you want.
This company that she works for is extremely blessed to have this wonderful
woman selling them and their product. With someone like her, the business is sure
to be successful. If only everyone was as proud of what they do as much as she is.

When she left she said " where have you been all my life..." and I wondered the
same thing about her.

So today's Random Wednesday is a little different. This person made an impact on
my day yesterday, my life in general and I wanted to share that with you.
If you meet someone new this week, search for what they have to offer you and think
of what they may also take away from meeting you.
