Ted + Kristen Engagement

This couple was so fun. They just knew what to do. It was great and I had
a great time getting to know them a little better before their Wedding
in September. I am so excited to spend the day with them next month.

Joseph Senior : MH

It's Senior Time! I love shooting seniors... (haha) photographing seniors.
Joseph pretty much knew what he wanted. He brought his guitar, a hat and
then some rockstarness. I had a great time and glad to get the SR 2010
year started with such a super fun senior!

End of Summer Party

Yesterday afternoon was the End of Summer Party for the kids @ my moms.
She has this small group of great kids that she gets to entertain each
day while their parents are @ work :) Now that summer break is coming
to an end, laykin is going to first grade and 2 others are starting their
school adventure... we needed a party!! Mom made this giant cookie pizza
yummyness and laykin made goodie bags and hats for everyone. I took
pictures :) Here are just a couple since I didn't make it to blogging
AT ALL yesterday and since I have a GINORMOUS list of "to do's" today.

and an Engagement Session to share soon!

Random Wednesday

YAY! It's Random Wednesday again... I am so glad that you all like it and voted yes!
Well, no one voted NO that is ;)
Hope everyone is having a great week... and as Mr. Arnold used to say "it's hump day,
half way through the week... it's all down hill from here"

1) Strange Laws:
Ok, so this morning my friend aka hair extraordinaire , Amanda :) , informed me of a new
app that she has on her iphone.... Weird Laws!
here are a couple that i found that were interesting~

Arkansas:
~Dogs may not bark after 6 PM.
~It is unlawful to walk one’s cow down Main Street after 1:00 PM on Sunday.
~Alligators may not be kept in bathtubs.

Missouri:
~Minors are not allowed to purchase cap pistols, however they may buy shotguns freely.
~It shall be unlawful to provide beer or other intoxicants to elephants.
~Dancing is strictly prohibited.
~A milk man may not run while on duty.

Haha there are many of these from every state.

6) I love these new textures. You all know
by now that I am all about grunge, rust
and urban locations. Well these textures are SO me and I love that they can
totally change the look of an image. What do you think?!

I love to get with Anne Camille and let the kiddos play. Us moms get to chat
and/or drag out the camera and of coarse the kids play and ... pose :)

{ Sweet Girl }

I love the way the light shines through your hair. The way it blows in the
summers breeze. The pure innocence on your face. A sense of peacefulness.
I love the way you look at me. The way you say Momma. Yes, I will be your
best friend forever, even when you're all grown up. And yes, you can always
live at home, even when you are married... although, I am sure by then you
will change your mind. :) My sweet girl, you are more to me than you will
ever know.

One evening last week, I caught a few shots of Laykin playing outside in
the sweet light. I love this girl~
